Kelsey Baker,
Kelsey has been immersed in the world of horses for most of her life. What began as a passionate “barn rat” eager to soak up every moment—whether mucking stalls or shadowing farriers and veterinarians—quickly evolved into a lifelong career. She spent many years managing a private stable for a wonderful couple, gaining invaluable hands-on experience while steadily working her way up in the competitive show world.
Kelsey has explored many disciplines, from eventing to hunters, but found her true calling in dressage. She has competed successfully up to the gold circuit level, earning numerous accolades along the way, including the title of Overall Eastern Champion at First Level.
While she eventually stepped back from the daily demands of farm life to focus on raising her children and working in more administrative roles, Kelsey has never strayed far from the equine world. Today, she continues to share her passion through teaching, finding joy in helping students grow in skill and confidence.
Kelsey lives with her partner Jay and their two daughters, Willow and Evelyn. Their home is full of life, including two cats (Boots and Mister), two dogs (Lux and Aries), and a beloved flock of chickens—all of whom, naturally, have names.
