Dr. Teresa Reitz, DVM

Teresa grew up in Erin, Ontario on a small hobby farm. As a child she rode in several disciplines including hunter-jumper and vaulting and in university began competing in eventing. She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2017 and received the AAEP/Frank J. Milne Memorial Prize for the highest standing in equine-specific rotations. After graduation, she completed an equine internship at Delaney Veterinary Services in Sherwood Park, Alberta. There, she advanced her skills in equine dentistry, lameness, emergency care, surgery, and reproduction. Teresa joined the RSLVS team in 2018 and takes a special interest in equine wellness care and dentistry, metabolic disease, and podiatry. She lives with her fiancé in Kemptville and in her free time she trains and competes in triathlon and Nordic skiing, with some knitting therapy in between.
